Information on data protection
We take the protection of your data into consideration and strictly observe the regulations of the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and the data protection regulations of the European Union.
Your personal data is solely collected to the extent required or technically necessary for handling your case or as covered by your consent. Your data will not be disclosed or sold to third parties, in particular not for advertising purposes of any other economic utilization of the data.
The following declaration shows how we guarantee the protection of your data:
1. We automatically collect and store information transmitted by your browser in our Server Log Files. This includes the following data:
a) the time, status and the enquiry your browser sent to the server, the amount of data transmitted as well as the website from where you arrived at the requested page (referrer), as well as
b) the product and version information of your browser (user agent).
With the help of this collected and stored data, an attribution to a certain person is neither intended nor at all possible. This data will not be consolidated.
2. In order you contact us by E-Mail, we will process and store the data you have entered in the scope of statutory requirements and use it solely within the scope permitted by law for the processing of the respective case. You can object to the use of your data at all times.
3. We use “cookies” to operate our website. These are small files that enable the storage of specific information on the user’s computer that is related to the user. With the help of cookies, we are able to improve the experience and efficiency of our website. Besides the so-called “session cookies”, which expire after the respective end of usage, we also use so-called “permanent cookies” which, however, contain no personal data such as name, IP address or other details whatsoever. For this reason, it is also not possible to form a simple profile about user behaviour even with the help of the so-called “permanent cookies”.
You are able at all times to deny the acceptance of cookies in the respective browser menu. Such denial shall merely reduce your experience in using our website.
4. In addition, we use Google Analytics for our website, which is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information about your use of the website generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated the IP anonymization setting for the use of our website, so that your IP address is previously abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other member states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse the use of the website, in order to compile reports about the website activities and in order to provide the website operator with further services connected with the website usage and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google from your browser in the scope of Google Analytics will not be conciliated with other data of Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by way of a corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we must advise you that in that case not all functions of this website may be usable to their full extent.
If you do not wish your data to be used in Google Analytics, you can install the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics. This will prevent the Google Analytics JavaScript Code (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) executed on websites from analysing your data in Google Analytics.
If you would like to deactivate Google Analytics on websites, access this page (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and install the add-on to deactivate Google Analytics for your browser. You can obtain detailed information about the installation and deinstallation of the add-on in the help resources relevant for your browser.
Browser and operating system updates can lead to the add-on for deactivating no longer working as intended. You will find further information on the management of add-ons for Chrome here (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142064). If you do not use Chrome, you can obtain information directly from the manufacturer of your browser as to whether add-ons are working correctly in the browser version you are using.
With the latest versions of the Internet Explorer, the add-on is occasionally loaded after data is sent to Google Analytics. If you use the Internet Explorer, cookies are installed on your computer by the add-on. These cookies ensure that all data collected is immediately deleted from the server that collected the data. Make sure that third-party cookies are not deactivated for the Internet Explorer. If you delete your cookies, these cookies will be reset by the add-on within a short period to ensure that your Google Analytics browser add-on continues to work unrestrictedly.
More detailed information on the conditions of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. We must point out that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended by the code “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of the IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
5. You have the right to obtain information from us at all times regarding the storage of your personal data, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the storage.
6. We will delete all of an individual’s personal data as soon as this data is no longer required for the processing of the case or any other contractual relations between you and us, and statutory storage regulations allow a destruction or deletion.
7. This data protection policy is accessible to any user at all times on our website.
